New theoy and advancements of the method
On the basis of researching and developing the theory of primary halo for blind ore prospecting, Professor Li Hui and others put forward the theory of primary halo superimposition in 1993, which solved the unexplained and perplexed problems of geochemical prospecting experts, such as abnormal zoning and coexistence of fore-tail halo, which appeared in the support theory of primary halo for blind ore prediction, and created the method of primary superimposed halo for blind ore prospecting.“ Reverse zoning and coexistence of fore-tail halo have become indicators of deep blind ore. In 2001, the theory of structural superimposed halo was put forward, and a special sampling method was formulated. It not only strengthens the information of blind ore, enlarges the prediction depth, but also greatly reduces the workload of sample collection-processing analysis. The key is that adults improve the accuracy of blind ore prediction, and develop the "primary superimposed halo blind ore prospecting method" into "structural superimposed halo blind ore prospecting method". The key is to improve the accuracy of deep blind mine prediction. In 2010, the National Crisis Mine Project set up a project to track 14 mines to verify the prediction target effect. The results show that the accuracy is more than 80%.
Structural superimposed halo finds gold exceeding 300 tons
Leading by Li Hui and Yu Bin, the team has applied 120 times at the invitation of 93 mines, and has achieved different prospecting results.
The main achievements of the study on structural superimposed halo model of ore deposits are as follows: six types of gold and antimony deposits have been established: quartz vein type, altered rock type, structural fracture zone type, vein zone type, breccia type and skarn type. Tectonic superimposed halo model and "practical model" for deep blind ore prediction in 9 copper, lead, zinc and silver deposits. Research results have been published.
Promotion and Application
The blind ore prospecting method of structural superimposed halo has been transformed into productivity and widely applied in the industry.
In terms of lecture promotion, 5 monographs and more than 100 papers have been published. He was awarded the Top Ten Scientific and Technological Achievements of the China Geological Society in 2008 and 18 Awards for Scientific and Technological Progress of the China Gold Association and Shandong Province.
The blind prospecting method of structural superimposed halo is compiled into the revised geological and mineral industry standard of the People's Republic of China in 2014.
